1. Delete your account yourself
The quickest way, and it deletes everything at once. It works the same however you sign in — with a password, a passkey or your Google account.
- Sign in to LeasingTrack.
- Open Settings › Profile and scroll down to “Your data and account”.
- Choose “Delete account…”. We show you exactly what would be deleted, and you can still download a copy of your data.
- Confirm with your password — or, if you created the account with Google and have no password, simply continue.
- We email you a confirmation link that works for 60 minutes. Open it and confirm your decision once more.
- Your account is deleted straight away, and we send you one last email to confirm it.
Not signed in? We’ll ask you to sign in first, then take you straight there.
2. Only stop signing in with Google
If you’d like to keep your account but no longer sign in with Google, disconnect it instead. We then delete the Google account ID and email address stored with your account; your properties, leases and other data stay as they are.
- Sign in and open Settings › Security.
- Under “Connected accounts”, choose “Disconnect” next to Google and confirm with your password.
- No password yet? Set one on the same page first, so you can still get into your account.
A profile photo we took over from Google stays until you remove it under Settings › Profile.
3. Remove LeasingTrack from your Google account
You can also cut the connection from Google’s side. Google then no longer shares anything with LeasingTrack, and signing in with Google stops working.
- In your Google Account, open the list of third-party apps and services connected to it.
- Choose LeasingTrack and delete its connection.
This does not delete what your LeasingTrack account already holds — Google can’t do that for us. To delete that too, delete your account as described above, or ask us to.
4. Ask us to delete your data
Can’t sign in any more, or would you rather we did it? Write to us and we’ll delete your account and the data that belongs to it for you.
Data protection contact
Write to us on the contact pagePlease write from your account’s email address, so we can tell the request comes from you — otherwise we may ask you to confirm it another way. If you signed in with Google, use the address of your Google account.
We act within one month at the latest, free of charge, and let you know by email once it’s done.
5. What is deleted
Whichever way you choose, deleting your account removes:
- Your profile — name, email address, phone number, profile photo, emergency contact and settings.
- Your password and every other way of signing in, including a connected Google account and the ID we stored for it.
- The properties you own, with all their leases, payments, documents, uploaded files and messages. Their co-owners and tenants lose access, and we let them know by email.
- Your newsletter subscription.
6. What we keep, and why
- If you rent from a landlord on LeasingTrack, the lease and its messages and requests stay in the landlord’s records — they are the controller of that data — but are no longer linked to your account.
- Where the law requires it — for example accounting records of paid plans, under Hungarian Act C of 2000 on accounting — we keep that data only for the required period and use it for nothing else.
- If you tell us why you’re leaving, your answer is stored anonymously and is never linked to you.
7. What we get from Google
When you sign in with Google, Google tells us your Google account ID, your name, your email address and, if you have one, your profile picture — which we only take over while your account has no photo of its own. We receive nothing else from your Google account, and we never do anything in it on your behalf.
Everything we process, and why, is in our Privacy Notice.
